Solis is a crew operations platform for general contractors. One mobile app that handles your crew, your jobs, and your money: GPS-verified check-ins, geotagged photo documentation, scheduling, change orders, and invoicing.
General contractors running crews of roughly 5–50 workers across multiple job sites. We're built for the owner-operator (the person who is also the dispatcher, the foreman, and the bookkeeper). If your office runs out of a truck, Solis is for you.
Solis replaces the spreadsheets, group texts, and camera rolls you use to run a contracting business today. Your crew checks in from the job site by phone, takes GPS-stamped photos, and you see the whole day in one feed. Schedule jobs, track change orders, send invoices, all without driving between sites.
Most contractors are up and running in under an hour. Add your business, import your crew (paste a spreadsheet or add one at a time), create your first job, and send a check-in code to your foreman. No training sessions, no IT setup.
iOS, Android, and any modern web browser. The mobile apps are designed for the field: large tap targets, glove-friendly, readable in sunlight.
No. Workers check in with a phone number and a PIN. No email signup, no password management, no app tutorials. They get a code from you and they're in.
English and Spanish, fully. Not as a translation. Both are first-class. Your foreman switches the whole interface with one tap. Same buttons, same workflow, whoever's holding the phone.
Three plans, priced per company, not per seat: Starter $124/mo (annual) for up to 10 workers, Pro $207/mo for up to 25, and Business $415/mo for up to 50. Monthly billing is also available at $149 / $249 / $499. Invite every worker on your crew at no extra cost.
Starter covers field basics: GPS check-ins, geotagged photos, scheduling, change orders, and PDF invoicing. Pro adds the foreman role, priority support, and onboarding. Business adds the full money stack (lifecycle invoicing, online payments, P&L dashboard, accounting sync) plus a dedicated success rep. See the full feature comparison on the homepage.
No. Per-seat pricing punishes you for hiring. Solis pricing is per company. The price doesn't move whether you have 5 workers or 25.
Yes. 7 days, full access to every feature in your chosen tier, no credit card required.
Yes. Annual plans are billed upfront and work out to roughly two months free vs. paying monthly. You can switch between annual and monthly any time.
Yes. There are no contracts or cancellation fees. If you cancel during a trial, you owe nothing. If you cancel a paid plan, you keep access through the end of your billing period.
Major credit and debit cards, ACH bank transfer, and (on annual Business plans) wire transfer or invoice billing.
Your data stays accessible for export for 30 days after cancellation. You can download all your project data, photos, timesheets, and invoices any time during that window.
No. Pro and Business plans include a free onboarding call (English or Spanish). Starter is self-serve.
When a worker opens Solis on the job site, they tap a code and check in. Their GPS location is verified against the site's coordinates. No honor system, no phone calls. You see who's on site, who's late, and who's missing in one feed.
You get an alert when expected check-ins don't happen. The worker can check in late and the timestamp is recorded honestly. No rewriting history.
Yes. Check-ins, photos, and notes captured offline sync to the server the moment the phone gets a signal. The GPS coordinates and timestamps are still recorded at the moment of capture.
Add workers from the dashboard or by pasting a spreadsheet. Removing is a single tap. They lose access immediately, and their historical work stays in the record.
Yes. The live worker map shows every active worker against the job sites they checked into. One screen, the whole crew.
Foremen get an elevated permission set: they can verify other workers' check-ins, mark jobs complete, and initiate change orders without owner approval. Available on Pro and Business.
Direct messaging between you and any worker is included on every plan. Group messaging and per-job threads are on Pro and Business. Messages are tied to jobs, so you don't lose context the way you do in regular SMS.
No. GPS verification only happens at the moment of check-in and check-out. Solis does not run continuous location tracking, and it's not designed to be a surveillance tool.
Tap New Job, drop in the address, set a start date, and assign workers. The site coordinates anchor your future check-ins, photos, and reports.
Build a weekly schedule by dragging workers onto jobs. The schedule lives on every worker's phone. No separate handout, no morning phone calls. Re-schedule and the crew sees it instantly.
Yes. Assign as many as you need. Each worker's check-ins, hours, and photos are tracked individually but live in the same job record.
Create a change order from the field with photos, GPS, and notes attached. The customer signs off in the app or by email. The full lifecycle (request, approval, sign-off, billing) is tracked, so disputes have a clear paper trail.
Run through the completion checklist, attach a final set of geotagged photos, and the customer signs off in-app. The job moves to closed and the invoice can be triggered automatically.
Yes. Jobs run as long as they need to. Daily check-ins, photos, and notes accumulate against the same job record so you can see the whole arc.
Every photo taken in Solis carries the GPS coordinates, the worker name, and the timestamp from the moment of capture. Baked in, not added later. The metadata can't be edited after the fact.
Yes. The capture timestamp is the source of truth. There's no way to backdate a photo in Solis.
Yes. Export any job's photos as a zip with the GPS, worker, and timestamp metadata intact. Exactly what insurers and adjusters want to see.
Indefinitely while you're an active customer. After cancellation, you have 30 days to export before deletion.
Yes. Short job-site videos (up to 2 minutes) are supported on every plan, with the same GPS and timestamp metadata as photos.
Only if you choose to share them. You can send a customer a job-specific photo bundle by link, no account required on their end.
All plans include basic PDF invoicing. Business adds the full lifecycle: invoice creation from tracked work, online payments, dispute handling, and the Job P&L dashboard.
Invoice draft from logged time and materials, then customer review, then online payment or dispute, then reconciliation against the job's P&L. All in one place, no copy-paste between tools.
Customers pay by card or ACH from a hosted payment link. Funds settle to your bank in 1–2 business days. Standard processing fees apply.
Yes, on Business. We sync invoices, payments, and expenses to QuickBooks Online, Xero, and a handful of others. Your accountant doesn't have to change anything.
A per-job profitability view: labor logged against the job, materials billed, and revenue collected. Find the jobs that are losing you money before they finish.
Yes. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We follow industry-standard security practices and are working toward SOC 2 Type II certification (see the Security page for current status).
Always. Every plan includes full data export (projects, photos, timesheets, invoices) at any time, no hoops.
You and the workers you invite. Solis staff only access customer data with your explicit permission (e.g. for support). Access is logged.
No. Your data is yours. We don't sell it, share it with third parties, or use it to train models without your explicit opt-in.
We're in the readiness phase. The Security page tracks our current certifications and progress honestly. No pre-launch overstatements.
Their access is revoked the moment you remove them. Their historical check-ins, photos, and timesheets stay attached to the jobs they worked on, so your records are intact.
Yes, fully. Every screen, every workflow, the AI assistant. Most of the crews building in Southern California run in Spanish, so we built it that way from day one.
Yes. Each worker picks their own language. Your foreman can run the day in Spanish while the dashboard you watch is in English.
Yes. Ask it questions in either language and it answers in the same language.
