1. Introduction

Solis Core Inc. ("Solis", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us through our platform and mobile applications. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Solis platform

  • Detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized access

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to data brokers.

4. GPS and Location Data

Location data is collected only when a crew member actively initiates a job site check-in using the Solis mobile app. We do not conduct background location tracking, passive monitoring, or geofencing outside of an explicit check-in action.

GPS coordinates collected during check-ins are associated with the relevant job record and are accessible to the account owner (the general contractor) for workforce management purposes. Crew members are informed at the time of check-in that their location is being recorded.

Location data is not shared with third parties for advertising, and is retained only for the duration necessary to support job record accuracy and dispute resolution.

5. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal data.

We may share data in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: Third-party vendors who help us operate the platform (e.g., payment processors, cloud infrastructure, email delivery). These vendors are contractually bound to protect your data.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or government regulation.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate confidentiality protections.
  • With your consent: Any other sharing will only occur with your explicit authorization.

6. Data Retention

We retain different categories of data for different periods:

  • Account data: Retained for the life of your account plus 90 days after deletion request.
  • Job site and project data: Retained for 7 years to support legal and warranty obligations common in the construction industry.
  • GPS check-in data: Retained for 2 years or until the associated job is closed and archived, whichever is longer.
  • Payment records: Retained for 7 years in compliance with financial recordkeeping requirements.
  • Support communications: Retained for 3 years to assist with follow-up issues.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

  • CCPA rights: California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale (we do not sell data).

To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@solisapp.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. Our infrastructure is hosted on industry-leading cloud providers with network isolation, access controls, and automated intrusion detection.

Access to production systems is restricted to essential personnel who have completed security training and operate under multi-factor authentication requirements. Despite these protections, no system is completely impenetrable. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@solisapp.com.

9. Children's Privacy

The Solis platform is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18; we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; when we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top and notify active users via in-app notification or email if the changes are material.
